Methodology

Allocation Mapping

An analytical method that traces how labour, agency and responsibility are distributed across an interaction. It identifies who performs the work, who can decide, act, refuse or change course, and who is expected to own the process and its consequences. Comparing these allocations reveals where work, power and accountability converge or diverge.
